Appearance:	The only colors on Ranett's body are shades of blue, but the grey-blue shade that covers most of his body is really his skin color - he has translucent fur. Due to living on the streets, his coat is always mussed and unkempt and often rather dirty as well. The only marking that he has is a long, darker blue stripe on his right side - there is one on his left, too, but it starts below his shoulders and is thinner - that starts directly behind his eye, curves down a bit, and runs straight the rest of the way, getting gradually thicker as it goes. His ears, folded over due to the Rreesha Eek he inherited from an unknown parent, are the same shade of blue as his stripe. Ranett's legs are also blue - his paws are navy, and the color steadily gets lighter until it fades into the translucent color that covers the rest of his body. His eyes don't break the color scheme, either - they're bluish-grey and rather large, giving him a very useful innocent look.
History:	Ranett has lived on the streets of Alcaine for his entire short life, and knows the streets of the Cave sector - where he assumed he was born, as that's the first place he remembers seeing - and the Beach sector - where he spends most of his time now - backwards and forwards. Every dead-end, every dusty alleyway, where to go for good food, the best stands to steal from, etc. Not that he doesn't know the rest of the city, but his knowledge of the little things in other sectors is hazy at best. Ranett's what most kaasht would call a street urchin. Never knew his parents, never knew a home but the streets of Alcaine. The name Ranett is a name he gave himself after getting tired of being referred to simply as "Hey, kit!" or "Nasty little bugger" or "Get back here, you thief!" When another kit asked him his name one day, Ranett's what came out of his mouth first, and it stuck. When he was a very young kit, he could win food by his shabbiness and cuteness, but as he grew older, he learned that he couldn't live on generosity; he didn't want to, anyway. Kaasht just felt ever so sorry for him all the time, and he hated it. So Ranett slowly developed the subtle art of theft. Food from merchants' stands, bags of teeth from gullible kaasht, nothing was safe from him if he wanted it. Ranett also learned before too long to be careful of the Guards; he never got caught himself, but he'd seen what had happened to other kaasht caught for using abilities and for theft. Not ideal. As of now, he's very good at blending in and subtly using abilities like Attention Slip on other kaasht when the Guards aren't around. Ranett isn't incredibly friendly with other kaasht and it takes a lot to get his trust. It's worth it if you can gain it, though, because he's also fiercely loyal. If a kaasht pays him a favor, he'll go out of his way to make sure that they're paid back, regardless of whether or not he dislikes the kaasht. He travels alone most of the time, but he's familiar with all of the kaasht in the Cave and Beach sectors of the city, and knows a few more kaasht in a few other sectors as well. But all in all, Ranett doesn't live a bad life; in fact, he'd rather live the way he does now, mainly because he's never known another life, and he doesn't like drastic change.
