Appearance:	Captain Sylabys is oft remembered for his ridiculous white bandana. There are a few rumors as to how he has horns or some embarrassing mark under it, but they're all false. In truth, he wears it 'cause it's comfy. Syla carries a rapier like sword around with him if time calls for a sword fight. The sword is latched to his left leg by a belt ordered specially for the purpose. Sylabys has a distinctly red-purple fur color. It's patterned with deeper purple stripes arranged in large diamonds going down his back. The shapes continue down his legs and tail getting narrower the farther they go. They end as simple stripes at the tip of his tail and at the top of his toes. The purple stripes appear again on the back of his ears. Three concentric lines of the color trace the outer edge of his left eye. A milky pale blue make up the color on his underside and on his glare line, and a vivid greenish yellow fills his eye. His fur tends to reflect light in a pinkish way regardless of what lighting he's in..
History:	Really, Sylabys' history was nothing really special. To sum it up, as a kit he made mini boats out of drift wood and such, once he made a life size raft which he promptly shipwrecked and now he's a pirate captain. Huzzah. Somewhere in between he got around to getting his stupid bandana, his sword, and his ship (the Copper Moon), and he learned how to use them. Captain Sylabys' personality is considerably more interesting than his backstory. Syla tends to show the versatility of the word calm. People who meet him tend to think he's rather far from having a beach's calm. He curses at lazy workers, taunts enemies and laughs jovially at common jokes. People who've known him for longer realize how calm he really is. He never is sad. He yells at people as a friend rather than foe and taunts enemies to raise moral in the crew. He loves his crew like a family and does his best to get them all rich and happy. An independent kaasht from a young age, Sylabys refused to join the Cohort's Marauders despite the fact that they had the same goal. A hatred of the captain and crew of the Copper Moon has grown in the Cohort due to their dislike of competition. Fierce battles have scarred her hull and the Copper Moon has needed to be repaired several times.
