Appearance: | Riamorr is a small, slim, almost delicate looking kaasht, not built for strength, with an almost monochrome coat. His translucent fur has a slight greyish blue tint to it, making him appear grey overall - on one or two occasions he has been mistaken for a half silver, though only due to bad light. He has a large black patch that starts at the base of his neck and runs all the way down to his tail, which is completely black except for the medium blue tip. His legs are alo black, as are his glare stripes and the tips of his ears. Around his eyes are thick black markings which almost resemble makeup, while the eyes themselves are blue to match his tailtip. The rest of Riamorr's markings consist of a few small, round spots scattered over his shoulders inside the black patch, while further on down his back he has a few short stripes that mostly resemble elongated versions of his spots. These spots and stripes are blue, with grey centres. |
History: |
Riamorr was born into a fairly average Isle tribe somewhere in the tropics of Tryne, though he doesn't know their exact location and hasn't ever made much of a move to find them again. He was born alongside a twin sister, also bicoloured. Both of the twins were picked up by the Guild at a fairly young age - towards the end of their first levels - although according to the Guild rules they did not begin training until the age of 40. Being stolen away so young, however, meant that Riamorr's memories of his original home are fuzzy at best. Both Riamorr and his sister were treat well enough before their training began - well enough to possibly install a false sense of security in the kits' minds. Riamorr hated his training from the very start, only going along with what he had to do out of fear of what would happen if he disobeyed. To make matters worse for him his small size and passive nature meant that he was frequently bullied by many of the larger kaasht around the base, especially Plains. Riamorr still has an intense dislike for the Plains species, and indeed most of the larger kaasht breeds. Fortunately he still had his sister for support, and he kept up his training in the hopes that he'd be allowed more freedom when he graduated. He did in the end, graduating as a fairly average fighter - not too bad, but not exactly spectacular either. The twins spent some time following their graduation taking on random missions - not usually anything of any real importance - and generally just wandering. Riamorr was fairly content with his life at this point - he'd gotten over the worst and he had some control over what he was doing. It was during this time that he picked up his first "pet" - a reanimated half grown pibbit he called Treiche. This situation went on for a few years, until one day Riamorr's sister was called away for a solo mission, leaving Riamorr alone. Riamorr had no orders, and he was resigned to simply wandering alone with nobody but Treiche for company most of the time. Without anything to do, he began to grow confused as to what he thought of the Guild - they had made him go through all that training and taken away the only family he really knew, and yet he felt unhappy because they ignored him and seemed to act as if he was no good for any mission of theirs. Time passed, with Riamorr occasionally attacking another kaasht sometimes (though he rarely killed much) or creating chaos in other ways. His heart wasn't really into anything he did - he just did it out of fear that if he did nothing at all, he woul be killed for being worthless. For the most part, though, he kept feeling as if he was just being ignored, and most of his time was spent wandering, sometimes staying in one place for a while but not for too long. Occasionally he spoke to other kaasht that he met, but not often. It was during his random travels that he accidentally entered the territory of a small Forest kaasht clan who found him out and took some offense to having him around. Riamorr fought back, but he was outnumbered and eventually driven away. He was also forced to leave Treiche behind - he doesn't know what exactly happened to him, but he doesn't think that the Forests would willingly allow an undead creature to run around their territory. He spent a little more time wandering alone, mostly sticking to coastal areas - places that at least had some familiarity, though he couldn't tell if they were home or not. During this time he met up with Cheyri, a white murin who had also been wandering, looking for a kaasht or a minena to bond. Riamorr didn't really like the idea of a strange creature imposing itself on him just like that, and he tried to explain that as a Guilder (although a relatively inactive one) he didn't deserve a murin. Cheyri, though, wouldn't listen and insisted on bonding him anyway - Riamorr was probably half willing despite all his protests, but he doesn't seem to have admitted that to himself yet. Life for Riamorr progresses much the same as usual, though with a murin as well, things are getting slightly more interesting. Riamorr still isn't sure what to make of his new companion - he is slightly grateful to finally have caring company again, but at the same time he resents the idea of being bonded to a creature that can see inside his mind and who, therefore, won't always leave him alone. He is deeply offended every time she enters his mind to try and find out what he's thinking, although if she stays outside, he's fairly tolerant of her company when he's in a good enough mood. |
