Appearance:	Shoriaa is a very large murin, just over four feet in length, but she is built with long limbs and a graceful body. Her fur, whispy and laying flat against her body, is a dusty beige in color over most of her form. Her right forepaw is a dark forest green, as is a raccoon-like mask over her silver eyes and extending to the base of her ears. Her long, slim tail is edged with black, the fur hanging down rather than fluffing out and the ends darkened.
History:	Once a Plateau/Forest Protector, Shoriaa is now a logical and intelligent, if overly stoic, murin. She died protecting her Protector partner and his family from Guilders intent on bringing Coorvel's mate, a defected Guilder, back into the fold or killing her in the process. Coorvel died first and Shoriaa sent the bicolored kaalaa and her kit off to the nearest Protector base before she died, herself. She has every belief that the pair survived and died at a ripe old age, in her seventh level, with a clear conscience and a ready spirit. Little did she know that death was not the end, but rather a beginning, and a choice. Confronted by the Spirit Elemental, Kami, Shoriaa was offered the option of returning to life in a different form, as a murin, to continue to protect other kaasht on Tryne. After a few moments of logically working through the benefits and difficulties of such a thing, she agreed, and was sent back as a murin drained of her original primary color, red, into a dusty beige, though several of her other markings remained. It may have been pure chance, or it may have been the will of the Spirit Elemental Kami, but very soon after arriving in the material world again, the newly named Shooria met up with a pale blue murin named Corvel-- the reincarnated form of her Protector partner from life. Overjoyed to see a friendly face, Corvel proposed that they seek out their bonded kaasht or minenas together, and Shoriaa agreed with her usual stoicity. They searched Tryne together until they found twin minlings who were worthy and in need of murin companions, for their parents had been killed and they were all alone. The two pairs bonded, and the murin began teaching their young charged how to protect themselves, and find food and shelter in the wilds of Tryne. All would have gone well if, in adulthood, the minena twins hadn't heard that the band of rogues who killed their parents and friends were still alive and wreaking havoc on other bands of minenas. Desperate for revenge, and the secondary reason and primary excuse of ridding the world of such scum, they took off in pursuit. It took them many years to actually track the band of kaasht down, and despite their murins' protests, they simply attacked them. A pair of minenas, no matter how well-trained, stood little chance against the larger and more numerous kaasht. Shoriaa and Corvel tried to protect their charges, but only succeeded in getting themselves wounded while the minenas died. Shoriaa and Corvel escaped, but only just, and now must deal with not only the loss of their bonded minena twins but also the guilt of being unable to stop their deaths. They intend to stay together, no matter what.
