Appearance: Timeye is colored like a raincloud, arrayed in various shades of gray over a slim but trim form. Her body is a uniform silvery gray, pale and cool, with bands of tiny spots in a darker gray ringing all four legs and portions of her tail fading in and out of darker gray. The pools of her glare stripes are smokey gray, like the fluffy tufts of her ears. Her wings are perhaps the most striking part of her, being the same uniform gray as the rest of her fur over the main sail feathers, a darker smokey gray along the primaries, and a yet darker charcoal over her secondaries. When opened, they display shockingly bright lines of white on their underside. The only spark of actual color on her, however, is the vivid blue of her eyes.
History: Timeye knew automatically when growing up that she was different; why else would all of the other kits in her clan have bright, eye-catching pelts while hers was a simple mix of grays? Supposedly, she learned from her parents, all of the other kits could use a wide array of abilities, but Timeye had control only over one of hers. But while she may have been born mundane, but she was determined not to let that get in her way of behaving like a normal kaasht would.

One of the older kaasht in her clan performed Ability Search on her at her request, and as soon as she knew which ones she had, Timeye started learning to use them. Her days would be spent often isolated from the other kits, heedlessly training herself, no matter how badly she failed. Nothing else existed for her than the mastery of her abilities; if the other kits could use them, she should be able to use them, too. By herself most of the time, she would often fantasize about the day when she could show the other kits that she was as good as they were, and the sad looks that the adults gave her were undeserved. All of the constant pity and even the occasional taunt thrown her way, though, slowly began to frustrate her as she continued to make futile attempts to master her abilities, and she grew resentful of the other kaasht.

Eventually realizing, after years of work and only two more abilities mastered, that she could never become anything like a normal kaasht could, Timeye decided to take her life in a different direction. Minenas, she had heard from a few in her clan, were immune to magic, and she started to daydream about what would happen if any of them ever attacked her clan. The other kaasht' abilities would be of no use... so they would have to use brute strength, which many kaasht neglected to train, tending to rely solely on their magic. But Timeye couldn't use her magic, and she was getting thoroughly tired of kaasht in general. So to get away from everything... she could become a mercenary, but one that serviced only minenas. After all, she had never really held to the ideals of total pacifism or nonviolence that her clan and species held... kind of pointless, really. So she followed the same routine that she had with her ability training, except she ruthlessly trained her muscles and her body instead. She'd work herself to the point of exhaustion each day, but it was better than trying to socialize with the other kaasht. While doing so, she managed to gain one or two more abilities, ones that she could use on herself. In the middle of her third level, she decided that she was good enough and left without a word or a care. It was hard to gain her first job, but her training paid off; as soon as she successfully carried it out, word spread of the kaasht that worked for minenas, and she quickly found her exceptional skills in demand.

Timeye is wholly devoted to her work, often to the point of being almost obsessive. She doesn't talk to other kaasht or even to other minenas much and never questions the morality of whatever assignment she's given. She just carries it out and receives her pay. Although she doesn't look it, she's somewhat of a dreamer, but not in an airy way; she just simply thinks more than she speaks. As may be expected of a mercenary, she doesn't share the compassionate and caring nature of the rest of her species, and is generally apathetic towards society and the rest of the world.
