The religion of the Greater minena, called Furramirrii, is monotheistic and highly ritualized. The singular deity, Va'minmirraa, is portrayed mainly as male, but older writings and older versions of current writings often give him female aspects, as well. He is never drawn or described except as a stylized sun, for it is tradition that to try and make an image of Va'minmirraa, even in one's mind, is blasphemy.

Va'minmirra is a deity firmly associated with light in general and the sun in specific. The holiest time for his following is the longest day of the year, in midsummer, and all rites and ceremonies take place during the daylight hours. Heat and fire also figure into Furramirrii, the former as a test of endurance in sweat houses and the latter as a purification and the vessel for Va'minmirra's power. The importance of the hunt is also strong in Furramirrii: the coming of age ritual for mohhrona is entirely centered around it and the dogma is full of hunt imagery.
