Anatomy Coronakaasht mainly resemble the cats of Earth and share many of their features. Most species have long legs, making them usually slightly taller than their body length, not counting the tail. The three exceptions to this are the Tundra kaasht, which have very short legs like a dachshund, the Marsh kaasht, who are about a foot longer than their height, and the Isle kaasht, who are also longer than they are tall, like an ordinary cat.
Kaasht also have unusual paws, as with most species the seperate toes are not visible, giving the paw a mitten-like appearance. They do have the seperate toe bones, but the flesh is fused together so that the toes are not visible. The exception to the rule are the Old Mystics and the Isle kaasht. Old Mystics have vaguely visible toes, although they are still fused, while the Isle kaasht have true, seperate toes. Kaasht do not have dewclaws, with the exception of the Plateau kaasht. All kaasht except Marsh kaasht have retractable claws. Like real kaasht, Coronakaasht have very well developed senses of hearing and smell. However they also have good vision, comparable to that of a human, and can see in the same colour range as humans too. The Importance of a Coronakaasht's Tail The tail of a kaasht is extremely important, be it female or male. A kasht's tail is their hand. Think of an elephants trunk, which have over 200,000 muscles. They can knock over a tree, or pick up a dime. A Coronakaasht's tail is ten times what an elephants trunk is. A kaasht's tail has over 2 million muscles, making them extremely dexterous. They can write with their tail, draw, paint, wield weapons, you think of what a hand does, their tail can do. They almost move individual hairs. The fact that the kaasht's tail is fluffy means nothing. In fact, the fur helps to grip. A kaasht's tail is its life. If it is cut off, or it is born without a tail, they are either killed, or kill themselves. Kaasht tails are nearly twice as long as their body, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter, but usually in that area. Dethsdore and She'iir fighting |
